CHIEF PROJECT ENGINEER

UGOCHUKWU NZEOCHA

Ugochukwu Nzeocha has more than 10 years’ experience in management of Marine Operations in the Oil and Gas sector. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Engineering & Technology, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, with certifications in Health, Safety and Environment; Basic Fire-fighting and Prevention. He is an excellent Project Management Professional, and a registered member of Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Mr. Nzeocha has worked in various companies as a Project Engineer Trainee, Dredge Superintendent and Senior Project Engineer in charge of execution of all dredging contracts. He coordinated the country’s longest hydraulic dredging project, jointly financed by Shell Petroleum Development Company and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas in Bonny Island, Nigeria. Currently, Mr. Nzeocha works in two roles with Azikel Group subsidiaries, as the Operations Manager of Azikel Dredging Nigeria Limited and Project Engineer for Azikel Refinery. Highly experienced in dredging business development and work plan documentation, he is in charge of planning and execution of all Azikel Dredging Operations.

Mr. Nzeocha has attended several seminars sponsored by Shell Petroleum Development Company in the areas of conflict resolution in Niger Delta region, HSES topica, compliance to GOAL ZERO in all SPDC operations and Dredging Job Hazard Analysis review. He is a certified user of Draeger X-AM 2000 gas detectors for testing of oil leaks round the well heads. His hobbies include playing scrabble and reading business development novels.
